Description about the intentions and purpose behind LTEC

brief explanation of my role in this issue

  • met with other directorial staff to decide the theme for the upcoming issue

  • attended weekly director meetings

    • give updates about design and receive updates from other departments

    • help plan events such as photoshoots and events to engage students

  • created and reviewed applications for the design team as well as other departments

  • hosted weekly design meetings and mentored junior designers

  • communicated with other departments to get content was in on time to ensure there were no delays in content creation

  • met with multiple printing companies to determine what company to go with to best fit our needs for this issue within our budget

  • assisted promotions team with designs advertising our events and new issues

  • assisted in planning and set up for our launch party debuting Volume 3 Issue 1: Nostalgia

  • designed a new website for the magazine

  • helped develop a media kit to give to possible collaborators
